Acupuncture involves the insertion of very thin needles through your skin at strategic points on your body. A key component of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is most commonly used to treat pain. Increasingly, it is being used for overall wellness, including stress management, weight loss, addiction, and allergies.    

 The needles are very thin, so insertion usually causes little discomfort. People often don't feel them inserted at all. A typical treatment uses 5 to 20 needles. You may feel a mild aching sensation when a needle reaches the correct depth. 

 In most cases, the needles remain in place for 10 to 15 minutes while you lie still and relax. There is usually no discomfort when the needles are removed.

The Laser is used to stimulate acupuncture points using the same rules of point selection as needle acupuncture.  Laser acupuncture may be used for any given condition over a course of treatment.

Auricular acupuncture is the stimulation of acupuncture points on the external ear surface for the diagnosis and treatment of health conditions in other areas of the body.

Ear Acupuncture has proven to be an efficient method of treating a wide variety of conditions, from headaches and allergies to addictions and pain disorders. Both Needles or Laser can be used to stimulate points on the ear.

Cosmetic acupuncture, also referred to as facial acupuncture, Focuses specifically on an aesthetic condition of the patient. The technique involves strategically inserting acupuncture needles into different areas of the skin with the aim of stimulating blood flow and balancing the body's Qi (Chi).
